The AAA Foundation has announced that it will award funding to the National Hearing Conservation Association Scholarship Foundation beginning this fall.
The NHCA Scholarship Foundation provides awards to graduate students focusing on applied/practical studies in hearing loss prevention and hearing conservation. The NHCA Foundation fulfills this mission by awarding stipends to currently enrolled graduate students pursuing research investigations. The funding from the AAA Foundation will support student members of the Academy conducting hearing in noise-induced hearing loss or hearing conservation. Deanna Meinke, PhD, president of the NHCA Executive Council, stated, “This is tremendous news… NHCA will be honored to have the AAA Foundation support, and are pleased to embark on this new partnership.”
