Auction 4 Audiology: Rock and roll memorabilia, electronics, audiology items, gift cards, getaways, and more are all up for grabs in the Auction 4 Audiology running March 25-April 6. Bid online at our booth, on your smart phone, or anywhere you have internet access.

25th Anniversary Donor Pins: We're celebrating the Academy's 25th anniversary with a special birthday cake pin. Make a donation to get your pin at the Foundation booth. Come on, flash us!

Wednesday, April 3
Happy Hour with a View: Why not kick off AudiologyNOW! poolside? Enjoy fine wine, food, and friends at this benefit event held from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Anabella Hotel. Kick back (no bathing suit required!) while raising money for the Foundation’s programs in research and education. Underwriting support provided by HearUSA Hearing Care Network.

Cheers for Ears: Keep the good times going with the second annual Student Academy of Audiology/AAA Foundation Cheers for Ears event at Anaheim Brewery from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Sip craft brews and support students! Underwriting support provided by Alpaca Audiology and Sound Advice Hearing Doctors.

Honors and Awards Banquet: Recognize those who have helped further the audiology field through philanthropy and research while enjoying a delectable dinner at the Honors and Awards Banquet at 6:00pm.  (Tickets available with your AudiologyNOW! registration.)

PhD Student Networking Lunch: Whether you’re a current PhD student, AuD student interested in pursuing a PhD, current post-doc, or first year faculty member, you won't want to miss this relaxed networking event at 12:00pm. Funded in part by the Foundation.

Oticon’s Make It Personal Benefit for the AAA Foundation: From 6:30pm-12:00am, enjoy music by retro acts from the 1980s as Oticon celebrates the Academy's 25th Anniversary AND raises funds for the Foundation's scholarship program. Stop by the Oticon booth (#327) to get your event pass.


Friday, April 5
Marion Downs Lecture in Pediatric Audiology: Dr. Richard C. Seewald, distinguished university professor emeritus and research associate at the National Centre for Audiology, University of Western Ontario, will present "A Retrospective on the Development of a Science-Based Approach to Pediatric Hearing Aid Fitting--What a Difference 40 Years Can Make!" (.15 CEUs) on Friday from 10:00 -11:30am. Those unable to attend AudiologyNOW! will have the opportunity to view a live Web seminar of the lecture through eAudiology. The presentation will also be available on-demand. Philanthropic support provided by The Oticon Foundation.

Student Research Forum: See the future of audiology as five young researchers share their work at 12:00pm. Philanthropic support provided by Plural Publishing.

NEW! Topics in Tinnitus Lecture: Dr. Pim van Dijk of University of Groningen, University Medical Center (The Netherlands) will present "The Neuroscience of Tinnitus and a Rationale for Treatment" (.3 CEUs) on Friday from 1:30 - 4:30pm. The Lecture will also be made available for complimentary viewing live and on-demand through eAudiology. Philanthropic support povided by Widex.

James Jerger Award for Excellence in Student Research: Join poster presenters as they share their knowledge and findings with their fellow audiologists during the Clinical and Research Poster Reception at 4:30pm. Select posters submitted by students will be chosen for the James Jerger Award for Excellence in Student Research. These poster research awards are funded by an anonymous donor.

Saturday, April 6
Improving Patient Care through Innovation in Workplace Management Lecture: "The Impact of Patient Experience Data Collection on Patient Satisfaction in an Evolving Reimbursement Climate" (.3 CEUs) will be presented by Francis A. Fullam, MA; Briana J. Jegier, PhD; and Keri Kwarta, AuD from Rush University Medical Center. Those not in attendance at AudiologyNOW! can view the session live from 8:00 -11:30am or on-demand through eAudiology at no charge. Philanthropic support provided by Phonak LLC.

Trivia Bowl: Does your trivia prowess cause others to quake in their boots? Show off your skills at this always-anticipated event at 4:00pm. Underwriting support provided by Siemens Hearing Instruments.
