Rieko M. Darling, Ph.D.
Rieko M. Darling, Ph.D. is currently an associate professor of audiology and Director of Audiology Clinic at Western Washington University. She earned her doctoral degree from Florida State University in 1987 and has served on faculty at the University of Hawaii and Auburn University. Dr. Darling’s professional experiences also include directing clinical audiology and speech language pathology services at The Methodist Hospital in Houston Texas, audiology consultant to the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Tuskegee Alabama, and audiology consultant to the Area Agency on Aging for North Florida. Her teaching, research, and clinical interests are in the areas of diagnostic and geriatric audiology. Dr. Darling is a 2003 American Academy of Audiology Honors Award recipient.
